The New Normal Part II- Keep Your Sanity… Over the last few days, I seem to be losing control of the life I had just a few short weeks ago! It reminds of a Woody Allen quote,

“If You Want To Make God Laugh, Tell Him Your Plans.” 

God’s ideas are greater than the plans we make for ourselves. …I had lots of plans for the next month or so, but not any more. I have to stop worrying about what I’m missing, and what I can’t do, but rather realize, we have no control over this situation, so let’s make the best of it all together!!

Breaking!- Nordstrom just announced the closing of all its brick & mortar stores until at least the end of March- but they are offering 25% off site wide online! This is huge and unprecedented!

 The New Normal Part II -Things To Do Each Day To Keep Your Sanity!!😷😱

Exercise Keeps Me Sane! Whether it was part of your daily routine before or not, start now! I’m sure you now have at least 30 extra minutes to spare! I have a treadmill in my basement, so that helps tremendously, but it’s also getting warmer out. Take advantage of the spring weather and enjoy a daily walk or jog.

I strongly believe as we age, we should not do the same exercise everyday. When I graduated from college, I went running everyday. If I did that now, I would be injured in a matter of days! So while we are house-bound, here is what I’m doing to continue a program that includes a wide variety of  exercises.

1- Treadmill- jogging with 7-8 one minute sprints throughout.

2- Outdoor Walks-

There are also special classes for those that have at-home dumbbells & treadmills. Live Stream workouts are posted daily! If you can’t view it live, they will be uploading the video for your reference at any time! Give Blast a Try!! Support the Local Businesses- when you can!
