This spring it’s time to get Puffed Up. I don’t know how you feel about a puffed sleeve, but here’s why you should try it! Puff sleeves are flattering!
Emphasis on the shoulder helps create the illusion of a smaller waist. It really does give everyone a very feminine form. So it’s gonna make your waist look much smaller. (That’s good news!)
Puff sleeves create an interesting, playful, and feminine dimension.
The Bigger the Better might be what’s being shown on the fashion week runways, but more subtle puff sleeves convey a fun, feminine vibe, for everyday wear and aren’t too over the top. Less is definitely more; when wearing a puff sleeve go minimal with the rest of your outfit, including accessories!
So you think a strong sleeve is intimidating? Start subtle, try a fuller sleeve in a solid t.shirt first. *Remember, with a bolder sleeve or shoulder, you want some kind of nipped waist so visually it’s most flattering, in other words, don’t do a full sleeve with a full pant or skirt.* I love a full-sleeve with skinny jeans, add a wedge; it’s the perfect balance romantic, modern and edgy.
